Classic Film Club

The purpose of the Midlothian Middle School Classic Film club is to provide educational opportunities outside of the usual academic schedule for those interested in classic films. It is also the purpose of the Midlothian Middle School Classic Film Club to discuss cinematography and to increase our ability to talk about movies and what we say in an enhanced and literate way. The Midlothian Middle School Classic Film club will watch and discuss clips of films that are over ten years old ranging from the 1920’s through the 2000’s. Many of the films will be on the National Film Board’s list of movies to preserve. Students can look forward to building their visual literacy and critical thinking skills.

Exposure to a variety of film genres and eras.

Students will meet every other Friday during Mustang Morning.

Students will learn more information about clubs and how to participate at school during Mustang Morning.
